Ticket prices

  • Early Bird (Student only) - £24
  • General Release (Student only) - £29
  • Final Release (Student only) - £36
  • Guest/Alumni - £39

Please note, all tickets will incur an additional £3 booking/transaction fee.

When are tickets available?

  • Tickets will be available to purchase from KSU’s Summer Ball website only.
  • Tickets will be available to purchase from Friday 6 March 2026 until sold out.
  • Tickets will go off sale once the Event sells out (which we are expecting).

1. Introduction

  1. All tickets sold by Kent Students’ Union for Summer Ball 2026 (the “Event”) are sold in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Please read these terms carefully before purchasing a ticket. Purchase or possession of a ticket constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  2. Summer Ball will take place on Saturday 30 May 2026.

2. Tickets

  1. University of Kent students may purchase one ticket through their account on KSU’s Summer Ball website. They may also purchase an unlimited number of £39 Guest tickets.
  2. Students at other universities may purchase one ticket through KSU’s Summer Ball website by creating an Associate account first through the Kent Students’ Union website.
  3. Online ticket holders will receive an email confirmation containing instructions on how to collect their ticket. Please ensure you collect your ticket during the allocated ticket collection window, these will be advertised ahead of time and will take place the week before the event. In order to collect your ticket you will need to show your ticket email along with your physical Student ID and valid Photo ID (driving licence/passport).
  4. All students should buy through their own account on KSU’s Summer Ball website.
  5. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  6. Tickets only guarantee access into the event before the final entry time of 19:00 on Saturday 30 May 2026, after this time tickets are no longer deemed as valid. Any customers arriving after this time may be refused entry or asked to pay a late fee.
  7. Tickets are for the Event and any billed Artists and attractions may be subject to change.

3. Age policy

  1. Kent Students’ Union operates a Challenge 25 policy. The Event is strictly over 18’s only.
  2. If you are in possession of a Student Ticket, you will be required to show a valid physical Student ID and also a valid photo ID.
  3. If you are in possession of a Guest/Alumni ticket, you must produce a valid photo ID.
  4. Acceptable proof of age is as follows:
    • An in date photographic driver’s licence or provisional licence or a valid passport. These must be physical copies and out of date identification will not be accepted.
    • If you are found to be using identification which is not your own, the identification and your ticket will be confiscated, and you will be refused entry to the Event.

4. Entry

  1. By entering the Event you give your express consent to being photographed/filmed or sound recorded as part of the audience, and to your name, voice and/or likeness being included within any film, photograph, audio or audio-visual recording of the Event to be used in any and all media. This may include filming by the police or security staff for the security of attendees at the Event or the prevention of crime.
  2. There shall be no pass-outs and no re-entry once you have entered the Event.
  3. Management reserves the right to refuse entrance to the Event.
  4. Last Entry to the event will be at 19:00 on Saturday 30 May 2026. Anyone arriving after this time may be refused entry or asked to pay a late fee.
  5. This is a Zero Tolerance Event.
  6. The following items are not permitted on the Summer Ball site and search shall be considered a condition of entry:
    • No alcohol or liquids of any kind
    • No drugs including ‘legal highs’ or paraphernalia
    • No knives or weapons
    • No aerosols, sprays or pressurised containers
    • No scissors or sharp objects
    • No glass
    • No umbrellas
    • No food
    • No perfumes or aftershaves
    • No flares or fireworks
    • No bikes
    • No high visibility vests or coats
    • No rucksacks or large bags
    • No professional photography/videography equipment (a small compact is fine!)
    • No drones
    All items taken from search will not be returned and will be disposed of by our security team, please do not bring any of these items with you.
  7. Admission is subject to search.
  8. We reserve the right to implement restrictions/conditions before and during the Event to ensure it is safe. You must comply with any and all instructions given to you by Event staff and Security and you may be evicted without a refund if you fail to comply.
  9. If you are barred from any of our outlets at the time of the event, you will be refused admission.

5. Cancellation

  1. Should the Event be cancelled, tickets will be transferred to an equivalent event. Should management decide there is no appropriate equivalent, tickets may either be transferred to a rescheduled date or refunded, you will have 3 months in which to claim your refund, otherwise these tickets will be automatically rolled over to the rescheduled date.
